The Tennessee Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (TIAAA) has awarded Harding Academy’s Athletic Director Corby Lucas with the Tennessee State Award of Merit for his leadership and administration at the school. 

The TIAAA Board nominated him for his involvement in interscholastic athletics in the Nashville area and across the state of Tennessee. 

In their letter of announcement to Coach Lucas, TIAAA President Jeromy Davidson wrote, “We all admire your passion and presentence toward ensuring the best of student athletes, he said.

“We value your involvement and leadership to the state interscholastic athletics at the middle school level. The TIAAA Board knows you are blessing to so many, and your unselfish efforts are very much appreciated! he added.

Lucas will be publicly honored at the annual TIAAA Awards Ceremony on Monday, April 3, 2017, in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
