Be About Change is a 501(c)(3) founded in Nashville.  The nonprofit organization provides higher education scholarships to students from low-income households and promotes expression through writing.

Nashville resident, Marcel Hernandez, founded the organization to help address the challenge of facilitating access to higher education after learning nearly 75% of Nashville students live in poverty.

Following a series of personal challenges, Hernandez committed to transforming perceived needs for change into action.  Learn more at beaboutchange.org/mission.
