The Nashville Eagles CCC, BB, and BBB teams opened up their regular season against the Rutherford County Crimson Tide this past Saturday in Lavergne TN. The boys in blue and orange showed up pumped up and ready for some football!

CCC Action

Our 7 & 8 year old CCC team got the action started in a hard fought shootout against the big boys in crimson.

The CCC’s are led by coach Tim Akers and assistants Freeman Spencer and Rob Morris.

Quarterback Jake Morris is in his second year at the helm of this hardworking and energetic Eagles bunch with Christian Blevins and Omarii Sanders running the ball.

Christian started the season off with a bang scoring both Eagles touchdowns in this first outing. The CCC team did struggle defensively but fought hard for four quarters in the loss.

BB & BBB Action

Our 9 & 10 year olds saw action against the same feisty Crimson Tide teams in both our BB and BBB divisions.

The BB team played tough but allowed some explosive scoring plays that ultimately led to the loss.

Our BBB team, led by quarterback Joshua Reece and running back Jaylen Springs proved to be too much for the BBB Crimson Tide team.

The BBB’s celebrated their first regular season victory beating the Crimson Tide 14-6.

Jaylen Springs was dynamite on offense accounting for all of the Eagles scores on the day except for an extra point scored by QB Joshua Reece.

These Eagles were destructive on defense holding the Tide to only one scoring play on the day. The boys in Blue and Orange were flying all over the field and hitting with super human strength.

Expectations are high for this BBB team as we expect to see them in the championship game in November as we did last year.
