Lady Eagles' Bats Stay Hot at Brentwood

The Nashville Christian School’s Lady Eagles softball team is still on a roll and having fun!  

NCS had another great week of softball.  Since the Lady Eagles have returned from Gulf Shores opening season tournament they have come out swinging, literally.  

They have outscored their opponents 72-25 with a record 9-1 and overall record of 10-5 and district record 4-0.  

While playing in the Brentwood Invitational this past weekend our bomb squad stayed active with senior Tassy Lyles hitting two home runs, sophmore Kayli Mothershed hitting three bombs and Karman Drake getting in on the action with one shot. 

Stat leaders include: Batting Average-  Kayli Mothershed  is on a torrid pace, hitting .485. Right behind her is Tassy Lyles .with her .436 average and Abbie Page.hitting at a .378 clip.

Tassy Lyles keeps it going when she reaches base, stealing 14 bases.

Kayli Mothershed leads the Lady Eagles with 20 runs batted in,  while Abbie Page has knocked in 12 runners and  Tassy Lyles has driven home seven..
