"The home of hometown heroes"

In varsity sports action at Ensworth this week, the Tigers took on rivals Montgomery Bell Academy in a three-game series on the baseball diamond.

Ensworth won the first game 6-1 before dropping the second game 7-6.

In the rubber-match, the Tigers jumped all over the Big Red pitching, scoring 18 runs in a 18-4 victory.

Varsity Lacrosse 

In lacrosse action, the Tigers defeated Murfreesboro 15-4. Ensworth had 42 shots on goal for a .357% scoring percentage. 

The girls team took on Harpeth Hall and came away with a 13-5 win.

Varsity Tennis

The Lady Tigers defeated Christ Presbyterian Academy 6-1 to improve their season record to 11-0

Clinching the doubles point were the teams of Cannata/Chambers, Overby/Bass, and Smith/Civitts. 

Singles winners were Josephine Bass, Avery Smith, Anna Chambers, Sally Glen Turner, and Rose Civitts. Sally clinched the match, but Avery and Anna held on to win tough battles. Natalie fought from way back as great team effort displayed.

The varsity boys’ tennis defeated CPA 7-0  to improve their season record to 10-0

The victory was a solid win over last year’s Class A State Team Champion. 

Singles winners were Ben Firestone, Connor Galvez, Sam Johnston, Jackson Jeansonne, Owen Alsup, and Jamen Rollins. 

Claiming the doubles point were teams of Galvez/Firestone, Alsup/Rollins, and Jeansonne/Johnston.
