The Bellevue Steelers are coming off an exciting weekend in which they competed in the Tennessee Titans Youth Jamboree at Nissan Stadium.  It was a gorgeous Saturday that started with a tailgate party featuring great food, music, and fun. The parents, players, and coaches had a great time hanging out together before the game.

It was an experience of a life time for all the kids to come out of the tunnel and run on to the Titans field ready to play like the pros. The games didn’t disappoint as all five Steelers teams had good showings against the Hendersonville Titans.

The AA team scored early and often as Demarion Shields accounted for two touchdowns on the day, one rushing and another receiving. Reshad McDowell and Drew Bonner anchored a tough Steelers defense that was aggressive and disciplined.

In the BBB game, it was a great team effort. Kaleb Johnson and Martez Lamb had big touchdowns runs and the defense looked good shutting down the Titans.

The BB team came out throwing and Seby Nelson-Cribb hit Jace Miller for a big touchdown. They played solid defense and their young team was impressive.

The CCC team was in a defensive battle the entire game and showed they are ready to battle to the end this season.

The Pee Wee team capped off the day with a fine performance from the youngsters. Kyren Frank had a long touchdown run and the team showed the fans a glimpse of the good thigs to come this season.

Opening Day for the Steelers is this Saturday, August 12th. For schedules, please visit www.tnyfl.org. Regular season games are always free to attend. For more information on the Steelers Program, please visit www.bellevuesteelers.com.
