September is National Yoga Month, and the Gordon Jewish Community Center has been offering special Sunday classes all month, with the culmination scheduled for Sunday, September 25.

Whole Health Day is a full-day retreat dedicated to spirit, mind, and body.  The event will run from 9-4 p.m., and includes six offerings, all designed to help participants grow in their application of holistic practices.

The event is open to anyone in the community who wants to experience a day of healing, restoration, and renewal through yoga, meditation, aromatherapy, Ayurveda, and reflexology, and is held on the campus of the GJCC located at 801 Percy Warner Boulevard.

The GJCC has partnered with leaders in the Nashville community to bring this landmark offering to their facility:

Preregistration is available online through this direct link: https://ops1.operations.daxko.com/Online/3098/Programs/search.mvc/sessions?program_id=78518 through Friday, September 23 at 5pm.   Persons interested in attending may also contact Alex Leff, Adult Program Director, to register:  alex@nashvillejcc.org or 615.354.1623, as well as visit the GJCC website: http://nashvillejcc.org.   Registration for the full-day is $25 for GJCC members, $30 for non-members.  Child care is available only with preregistration at $10 per child for non-members, no additional cost for members.  Walk-in attendance on the day of the retreat will be available at the same cost for the full day, however child care will not be available for walk-in participants.  Single classes may also be purchased on the day of the event at a cost of $10 for the first class and $5 for each additional class.  ClassPass members may participate using their online reservation system.  All fees must be paid prior to attendance in any class.

This is a full-day event, so participants should bring their own lunch to enjoy during the Ayurveda + Nutrition session.  Out of respect for the GJCC, lunches should not include pork or shellfish.  Those planning to enjoy yoga classes should bring their own mat, if available, and a water bottle.  The GJCC does have a limited number of mats available to borrow for participants who do not have their own.  Parking is free and on-site.

Spaces are limited and walk-ins will be taken on a first-come, first-serve basis so preregistration is strongly encouraged to secure a spot.  The GJCC invites all to celebrate the renewal of Spirit, Mind, and Body with them on September 25, in this culmination of National Yoga Month.
