In just over three weeks, teams will be taking to the courts around Nashville as part of the 17th Annual March Madness Basketball Tournament, hosted by West Nashville Sports Leagues.

What began as a tournament for WNSL teams has quickly grown to one of the largest and most exciting tournaments of its kind in the Southeast. Teams of all skill levels, from Recreational to AAU will participate.

“March Madness is a great way to give your team a tournament environment and the opportunity to see some great basketball,” says Scott Tygard, president of WNSL.

“Last year we had over 288 teams from six different states. There will be over 600 games played that weekend.”

This year’s tournament is scheduled for March 2nd-5th and will take place in gyms all over Nashville.

Registration is open now at wnsl.org for teams aged K-9th Grade. The registration deadline is February 21st.

The WNSL is also accepting registrations for its upcoming flag football and baseball spring seasons.  Individuals and teams can go online and sign up today.
