Siegel High’s Michael Montoya is an Ace on the Alley
Michael Montoya is a senior on the Siegel High School bowling and baseball teams. He is currently on the 30+ ACT Wall in school, has published research with the Tennessee Junior Academy of Science and was accepted in the Governor’s School for Scientific Models and Data Analysis.
All this and more, the Nashville Sports Council honors Michael as it’s Athlete of the Week.
Michael recounts his favorite monent in sports as: “Being at the bottom of the dog-pile after the baseball state championship game.”
As for his toughest competitor he has ever faced, that was an easy one, it was his twin brother Ryne.
Michael has earned the rank of Eagle Scout, and lists his mother as his biggest hero.
And if he could be granted just one super power, it would be the power to heal.
Right now, Michael is working on learning a new language, perhaps because the person he would most like to meet from history is Winston Churchill, who described Americans and Englishmen as “two people separated by a common language.”
Congratulations on this much deserved honor.
