Season Ends for Lady Eagles

"The home of hometown heroes"

The Lady Eagles from Nashville Christian School saw their season come to an end with a tough loss in the Region 5-A Tournament.

NCS fell to Moore County 64-31 on Friday.

Though they came up short of their ultimate goal of winning a state tournament, the season was quite successful for the Lady Eagles.

They finished their season with a 10-5 record, including 7-1 in District 10A play.  They started the year with four straight wins.

The Lady Eagles were led by senior sensation Sonja Shelton, who was named the district player of the year, and to the all-district tournament team.

Brittan Jarrell also had an excellent year for NCS, being named to the all-tournament team as well.

For many of the Lady Eagles, it is on to the softball team where coach  Ashley Page has eagerly awaited their return.
