Former Tigers Heading to NFL

Two former Ensworth Tigers, who helped lead their team to state titles, will be continuing their careers in the National Football League. 

Corn Elder, Ensworth Class of 2013, after completing a stellar college career at the University of Miami, was selected by the Carolina Panthers with the 152 pick in the fifth round.

The 5’10” 183 pound corner back was an outstanding member of the Tiger state champion team.

Conor McDermott, Ensworth Class of 2011, was a 6’8”, 310 pound offensive lineman at UCLA.

He was chosen in round six, by the New England Patriots.
