"The home of hometown heroes"

Bellevue Middle School hosted JT Moore for their first home of the season on Thursday. 

The Owls finished on the short end for the second week in a row. The final outcome was JT Moore 28-20. 

The Owls fell behind early 13-0. Moore had to long runs  resulting in two short scoring runs . 

The Owls responded in the second quarter with a long run for a score.  As Jaden Sparks took it in from 50 yards out. 

Moore answered back just before the half with a short score from five yards out. The score going into halftime was Moore 20-6.

The Owls woke up the second half with Jaden Sparks pushing two more scores across on long runs breaking numerous tackles. 

The Owls defense finally woke up but it was to little to late. 

Jaden Sparks led Bellevue with 100-plus yards on the ground and three scores. Sparks started his first game at quarterback in his career. 

“If we can put four quarters of football together we will become a good football team,” stated Coach Evetts. 

“We have to be ready to play from the start,” he added.

The Owls are off this week. They continue play next week at Mckissack Middle on Thurday at 5pm.
