The third annual Wheels for Meals Car Show and Silent Auction will be held (rain or shine) at Bellevue United Methodist Church, 7501 Old Harding Pike, across from the Bellevue Masonic Lodge on Saturday, April 29th.  Proceeds from the car show, which runs from 8AM-3PM, will benefit the Bellevue Community Food Bank and other local charities.  The event is being hosted and co-produced by Bellevue United Methodist Men and the Music City Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA). Added to the Car Show this year is the Spring Market featuring a variety of local vendors.

The car show will also feature a silent bid auction that includes donated prizes from several prominent local businesses and eateries.  Fans attend for free and can enjoy lunch at the Car Show Cafe.  Lead corporate sponsors for the show are Pinnacle Bank, Publix and Newk’s Eatery-Belle Meade.  Lead promotion sponsors for the show are Bellevue radio station WFRN FM 107.1 and Bellevue Sports Weekly.

The car show is expected to attract vehicles ranging from classics, muscle cars, imports and trucks to street rods.  Car owners will be competing for top prizes and several special awards.  Registration is from 8 a.m. to noon with an entry fee of $20 per vehicle.  Prizes and awards will be presented at 3 pm.  The Bellevue Community Food Bank was started in 1991 by the Bellevue Ministerial Association and operates out of Bellevue United Methodist Church.  The food bank facility was expanded in 1998 to better serve the growing hunger needs in the community. The food bank provides groceries, based on recommended weekly food requirements, to 1,000 persons per month.
