WNSL Sponsors Miracle Field Golf Outing

"The home of hometown heroes"

West Nashville Sports Leagues is hoping for a Miracle - a Miracle League, that is.

WNSL is partnering with Miracle League Music City to host the MLMC Golf Scramble to help raise money to build a Miracle Field Complex. The Miracle Field is a world-wide organization that aims to provide a safe and fun environment where those with special needs can play baseball in a stadium of their own.

“When projects like the Miracle Field of Music City come across my desk, I get so excited,” says Metro Park Director Monique Odom.” We know that is is an investment in our city, in our community, and it’s a social equity issue in the parks system and in the community. Young people of all ability levels should have the opportunity to play baseball.”

Everything in the Miracle Field complex, from the stands, the field itself and to the playground, is designed to enable people of all abilities to play and participate equally together.

“It is so important for Nashville to have a Miracle Field,” says WNSL League Administrator Carly Hill. “Playing sports was a major part of my childhood, and I am excited to be helping expand that opportunity to more children.”

The 1st Annual MLMC Golf Scramble and Silent Auction will take place on Friday, April 20th at Harpeth Hills Golf Course. Check-in will begin at 7am, with a shotgun start at 8am. Tons of prizes are up for grabs and it will be a fun morning for all.
