This past weekend marked the tip off of the 21st season of the West Nashville Sports League winter basketball, and the kickoff of WNSL Winter soccer.
After the snowy weather last weekend forced us to delay starting, WNSL was excited to get almost 300 boys and girls basketball and soccer teams playing in 25 locations across Nashville underway!
WNSL Basketball began as a few area dads looking for a better basketball league for their daughters. Now, more than 20 years later, WNSL is one of the largest basketball leagues in the mid-state, and not only hosts Winter basketball, but summer basketball and several tournaments throughout the year.
The largest tournament, March Madness, hosts nearly 300 teams from around the southeast in Nashville on the first weekend of March each year.
WNSL is newer to soccer, but is proud of the growth of our indoor program.
WNSL indoor soccer is played at the state-of-the-art indoor facilities at Boost Fit Club and is a great league for those who want to learn the game of soccer in a fun, less competitive atmosphere.
